A+GPB HSS168 Virtual 3D Headphone Review
When you go to LAN parties you’re usually not allowed to bring your speakers. You are required to bring a pair of headphones. If you are a casual gamer at home or listen to music on your MP3 player are you bored of your basic earphones/headphones? Well today we are going to take a look at a unique pair of headphones today that features virtual 3D sound. Let’s look at it shall we? The A+GPB HSS168 Virtual 3D Headphones came packaged with a couple of other products we are reviewing some time soon. There was no damage via UPS. Here we have the front of the box where there is a man wearing the headphones. You really can’t see him though. Flipping the box to the rear, now you can see him clear and very happy with his pink headphones. Unfortunately there is only a choice of pink headphones, no other colors are offered at the moment. What is included with the A+GPB HSS168 Virtual 3D Headphones are the following:
Specifications
The headphones look like those of audiophiles and true music lovers. I’ve seen this design many times in the past. You have a built-in microphone where you can talk with people over the Internet via conference call or a program of your choice. The side of the headphones have the pink color and says: HI-FI Headphones. The fit and finish of the product is very good. They feel very comfortable and the knitting of the material is first rate. The headphones have a generous length of wire that is connected to the remote control that adjusts the volume, and controls the bass level. It features a belt clip and the area where your batteries are placed. How the headphone sounds I have been using the headphone for about a week or so and it feels very good. It’s really comfortable and fits most heads perfectly as the spring size changes and matches the height of the head. All you need to do is plug the green jack into your sound card connector and the pink into where your microphone goes. I played Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory while using these and the 3D effect was awesome. It literally vibrates and you can feel the force. This is of course on the highest bass level. It was really awesome and very unique. When you shoot your weapon, you can feel your headphones shake. Different guns make different sounds and the best of all was dodging rocket launchers. The sound quality was good but wasn’t the best I have heard. I would have like to see options on the control to adjust treble levels. The treble was weak and more was desired to be even clearer. Overall the sound was okay. It just didn’t feel that clear. It was bit weak and hallow. But the 3D sound vibration makes up for the rest. This feature alone makes these headphones rock. However the price shown below makes the headphones look weak. The price to performance ratio isn’t there. However, if you pick these up to try the 3D sound feature you have fun enjoying it. I rate the A+GPB HSS168 Virtual 3D Headphones a… 8/10! Pros and Cons +
